the basics
— makes enough glaze for a pound of salmon, chicken wings or thighs
— takes 10 minutes
the ingredients
— vegetable or canola oil | 1 tbs
— garlic | 1 clove, minced
— sriracha | 2 tbs
— tamari or soy sauce | 1 tbs
— agave or honey | 1 1/2 tbs
— unseasoned rice vinegar | 1 tbs
— sesame oil | 1 tsp
— sesame seeds, any color | 1 tbs

the process
— in a small saucepan, bring all ingredients except sesame oil and sesame seeds to a boil over medium heat
— lower the heat and let simmer for 8-10 minutes, until reduced by about half, stirring occasionally
— off the heat, whisk in sesame oil and seeds
