— makes two dozen cookies

the ingredients
— flour | 2 cups + 2 tbs
— baking soda | 1/2 tsp
— salt | 1/4 tsp
— butter | 3/4 cup (1 1/2 sticks), softened at room temp
— light brown sugar | 1 cup, packed
— sugar | 1/2 cup
— eggs | 1 whole & 1 yolk
— vanilla extract | 1 tbs
— white chocolate chips | 3/4 cup
— macadamia nuts | 3/4 cup, chopped

the process
— in a medium bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt and set aside
— cream the butter and sugars together until smooth
— mix in the eggs and vanilla
— gradually beat in flour mixture until just combined
— stir in white chocolate and nuts
— roll dough into 1 inch balls, then cover and chill for an hour
— preheat oven to 325
— place dough balls on 2 parchment lined baking sheet and press extra nuts and chocolate onto dough balls so you can see them on top after they bake
— bake for 8-10 minutes or until the edges are very slightly browned
— allow to cool and firm up before devouring
