the ingredients

— tequila blanco | 2 shots

— cointreau | 1 shot

— lime juice | 1 shot

— agave | 2 tsp

— salt | enough for the rim (optional)

the process

— to salt your rim, run a lime wedge around the rim of your glass, then dip rim in salt

— combine all ingredients and shake with ice, then pour over fresh ice

— you can also blend all ingredients with 2 cups of ice for a damn good frozen marg

— a shot is 1.5 oz

— I put salt as optional because I don’t like salt with my margs. And no, I don’t use salt to take a tequila shot either.
